Every line, drawn once.
Plot is design for GRBL pen plotters, in your browser. Line art, hatch fills and single-stroke lettering for signs, cards and drawings, with pen calibration, real paper sizes and a drag knife for cutting out.

Each shape gets the operation it needs, with its own pen. Plot writes the pen lifts and the order, and you get one file for the whole sheet.
Line
Draws the path with the pen, at the speed and pressure you set.
Hatch
Fills a shape with lines, cross-hatch or concentric rings.
Lettering
Single-stroke fonts, drawn once with the pen.
Drag knife
Cuts vinyl, card and paper, offset for the blade.
Pen up, pen down, your way
Lift with the Z axis, a servo, or Z plus M3/M5. Plot writes the moves your plotter expects.
Pen calibration
Draw test strips of pressure and speed, then keep the setting that gave the cleanest line.
Real paper sizes
Start from A4, Letter and the other sizes you buy, not from a blank work area.
Pens and tips
Set the pen colour and tip width for each operation. Hatch spacing follows the tip, and Plot counts the pen changes.
A drawing-first editor
A focused layout for drawing on paper, without the router controls you don't need.
Draw, then cut
Draw the artwork with the pen, then cut it out with the drag knife, in the same project.
Write it like a pen, not like a font.
An ordinary font is an outline, so a plotter draws round every letter and you get hollow, doubled text. Single-stroke fonts follow the centre of the letter, and Plot makes sure each stroke is drawn once.
- Single-stroke fonts built in
- Strokes cleaned up, so no line gets drawn twice
- Mix lettering with line art and hatch on one sheet

Questions
Pen plotters that take GRBL G-code, such as the iDraw, DIY GRBL plotters and routers with a pen holder. Plot lifts the pen with Z, with a servo, or with Z plus M3/M5, whichever your machine uses.
Not directly. The AxiDraw runs its own EBB firmware rather than GRBL, so it can't run Plot's G-code as it ships.
Yes. Pick a single-stroke font and each letter is drawn once with the pen, not traced round its outline. Plot cleans up the strokes so no line is drawn twice.
Give it a hatch: straight lines, cross-hatch or concentric rings, at 0°, 45° or 90°, spaced for the pen tip you use.
Yes, with a drag knife. Plot offsets the path for the blade so corners come out sharp, and has starting settings for common materials.
